Many people have told me that they didn't learn much in the company of several strangers taking a Computers 101 class. When they got home they couldn't apply what they learned on "strange" equipment to their own computers.
The best way to learn how to use personal technology is through One to One training, learning on the equipment you want to use in the environment where you'll use it. In other words - your equipment at your place. Learn what you want to learn at a pace that's comfortable to you.
